Drake showed off some peculiar dance moves in his new video for ‘Hotline Bling,’ and ever since its Oct. 19 release, fans have been mocking him on social media. We think it’s a little mean-spirited, but We learned how the rapper feels about all the jokes!

All publicity is good publicity, right? That’s how Drake, 28, is looking at his current situation, in which fans have been mocking his “Hotline Bling” dance moves on social media. The rapperdropped his sexy new video on Oct. 19, and ever since its release the video has been the only thing people are talking about. However, they’re not being so kind.

“At first, Drake was mad and then looked at the bigger picture and realized that people are going to actually watch the video and listen to the song and then hopefully buy it. That is always the ultimate goal. So if people are talking about his dancing being good or bad and it leads to record sales, then he is all for it,” a source said.

We’re certainly happy to hear that Drake isn’t offended by the jokes about his dance moves. As previously reported, fans created dozens of super funny memes that make it look like Drake’s dancing to songs from Justin Bieber, Beyonce, and more, instead of his own song. Our personal fave? A meme in which Drake is seen dancing to The Cosby Show theme song.
