Lamar Odom’s Kids ‘Grateful’ For Khloe Kardashian: He May Not Have Made It Without Her.

Lamar Odom’s kids, Destiny and Lamar Jr., are ‘eternally grateful’ for Khloe Kardashian’s support for their father following his scary hospitalization, as reveal. They believe that he may not have pulled through if not for Khloe.
Lamar Odom, 35, has been lucky to have Khloe Kardashian, 31, by his side as he continues to recover from an alleged drug overdose that caused him to fall unconscious at a Nevada brothel on Oct. 13, and that fact isn’t lost on the former basketball star’s kids, Lamar Jr., 13, and Destiny, 17, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned. They’ll always “remember” Khloe’s devotion to Lamar during his time of need.
“Lamar Jr. and Destiny are really grateful for everything Khloe has done for their father so far,” a source reveals . “They’re aware that without Khloe, things might not have worked out as well for their father as they have, and they will always remember that and be eternally grateful.
They can’t believe everything Khloe has done for their dad as he continues his recovery in Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, as well as reportedly paying to fly them to see their father when he was at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas fighting for his life. Khloe has been a rock for them as they pray Lamar makes a full recovery.
The source goes on to say without Khloe, it would’ve been very difficult to imagine Lamar making such great strides in his recovery. “Khloe made sure the kids were by their father’s side when he needed them most, and she has been the glue that’s kept everyone together,” the source continues. “She’s been insanely tough throughout all of this, and even though there’s still a long way to go, both Lamar Jr. and Destiny are confident that with Khloe in their father’s corner he will continue to have great support in his bid for recovery.”
A crisis is always something that brings people together, and hearing about Khloe’s commendable spirit is inspirational for everyone, including the kids.
Meanwhile, Lamar has been trying to remain positive as he starts the long road to recovery, and he knows he is lucky to have been given a second chance.
“One thing that is important for Lamar, and something he’s really concentrating on, is not letting any negative thoughts affect his recovery,” a source tells reveals EXCLUSIVELY. “He’s remained very positive through all his issues, despite not having much mobility, which is something that could’ve got him down being the athlete he is.”
The source continued, “Lamar is aware that he’s been given a second chance, and is thankful to God for giving him the opportunity to right his wrongs,” the source continues. “Khloe has been highly encouraged by his motivation to overcome the hurdle of knowing he has a long battle of rehabilitation ahead. He’s determined to get better for himself, for Khloe and for everyone else who has shown him love and support.”
